Temporary Assistant Manager, Corporate Services - 9 months

Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join their Corporate Services team in Guernsey. This is a fixed-term contract for 9 months, offering a hybrid work arrangement with a commitment of 36.25 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of client structures, primarily focusing on private equity and real estate investment entities. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external advisors to uphold high standards of service and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Job Duties:

  • Administer a portfolio of complex client structures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all tasks
  • Assist Managers and Directors in overseeing team deliverables and maintaining service quality
  • Communicate with lawyers, accountants, tax advisors, banks, and other offices
  • Maintain up-to-date case files, draft meeting minutes, and ensure timely sign-off of accounts
  • Countersign standard correspondence and attend board meetings as required
  • Manage invoicing and debt recovery for your portfolio and support team billing when needed
  • Action review points and ensure regulatory obligations are met
  • Foster strong communication within the team and stay informed on industry developments

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in regulated finance or professional services, particularly in private equity and real estate administration
  • Strong organisational and supervisory capabilities
  • ICSA/CGI, STEP or equivalent qualification, or qualified by experience
  • Confident with IT systems and tools relevant to the role
  • Proactive in personal development and staying current with industry trends
