Temporary Client Director, Fund Services - 6 months

Our client is seeking a Temporary Client Director for a 6-month fixed-term contract within the Fund Services sector. This role involves overseeing a team of Administrators responsible for the day-to-day delivery of client services to a diverse portfolio of fund clients. The successful candidate will collaborate with the management team to implement business strategies aimed at supporting the growth of the organisation.

Job Duties:

  • Administer and service a portfolio of entities, acting as the main point of contact for clients.
  • Coordinate the team to deliver the highest standard of client service and meet key client deliverables and deadlines.
  • Act as a director on boards of client companies and corporate trustees as required.
  • Foster positive, long-lasting relationships with clients and their advisors.
  • Monitor and develop staff through ongoing training, personal development, and performance management.
  • Ensure billing is completed accurately and timely in accordance with client contracts.
  • Generate new business development opportunities across all locations.
  • Take an active role in the planning and implementation of the Service Line strategic plan and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, managing business risks and complaints proactively.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of operational experience in fiduciary administration/financial services, including at least 5 years in a management or senior management position.
  • A relevant professional qualification (lawyer, chartered accountant, chartered surveyor, or ICSA).
  • Experience of acting as a director on client company boards.
  • Strong knowledge of administration laws and regulations, including an understanding of Jersey and foreign tax issues.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a proactive and solution-driven attitude.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, alongside technical proficiency in relevant areas.
