Contract Manager, Trust Administration - 6 or 12 months

This contract position involves managing trust administration responsibilities for a defined period of either 6 or 12 months. The successful candidate will oversee a team dedicated to providing exceptional client service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining high standards in the administration of trust structures. Key duties will include managing client relationships, monitoring team performance, and providing support in the onboarding of new clients. The role requires a proactive approach to work and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal applicant will have extensive experience in fiduciary services and possess strong leadership abilities. Job Duties:

  • Management of a team responsible for trust administration.
  • Overseeing the administration of a portfolio of client trusts and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and intermediaries.
  • Responding to client enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Preparing for and attending client meetings, including post-meeting follow-up.
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new clients and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Reviewing and monitoring the performance of the trust administration team regularly.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics at Grade C or above.
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience within a fiduciary services administration role.
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as STEP, ICSA, or ACCA are advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements within the fiduciary sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
