Our client is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to develop, design, and maintain the solution architectures for specific business functional and technical areas. This full-time role will be based in the Isle of Man and Jersey and involves engaging with multiple teams to ensure the alignment of technology architecture with strategic business outcomes. The primary focus of this position will be to participate in the definition of higher-level requirements, analyse technical trade-offs, and determine the major components and subsystems necessary for effective collaboration. You will also be responsible for adhering to Agile methodologies and driving the implementation of solutions that meet business needs.
JOB DUTIES:
- Develop, design, and maintain solution architectures for specific business functional and technical areas.
- Participate in defining higher-level functional and non-functional requirements while analysing technical trade-offs.
- Determine major components, subsystems, and define interfaces and collaborations ensuring strategic alignment of technology architecture with agreed business outcomes.
- Adhere to Agile methodologies and follow Agile principles, striving to reach mature levels on the Continuum model while fostering competence in a continuous delivery environment.
- Monitor requests for information (RFI) and requests for proposal (RFP) processes, providing input and evaluation criteria during these procedures.
- Evaluate and score RFI and RFP responses, and provide assessments, reviews, recommendations, and opinions on Solution, Domain, and Client Segment architectures for alignment with Engineering and Business Strategies.
- Uphold the strategic alignment of technology architecture, including functional, platform, application, information and data, security, and integration architecture, with agreed business outcomes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Post Graduate Degree in Information Technology is required.
- A minimum of five to seven years of experience in Enterprise Technology and Solutions Architecture is essential.
- Demonstrated experience across multiple IT disciplines, including Development Hardware, analysis, design, service management, and architecture.
- Good understanding of Agile working practices, with proficiency in LEAN and SCRUM methodologies for collaborative teamwork.
- Eight to ten years of experience in designing innovative technology solutions such as Authentication Systems, System, Platform, and Account Migrations, with balanced skills covering various technologies and industry knowledge.
