Our client is seeking a full-time Senior Administrator to join their Administration Team in Jersey on a permanent basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, thoughtful, and personal service to clients. As a Senior Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining smooth operations, compliance, and a client-focused approach within your portfolio of client transactions. You will interact closely with various stakeholders, including advisors, banks, and professionals, to facilitate smooth administration processes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to internal team capability and overall revenue generation while enhancing client relationships.
JOB DUTIES:
- Deliver coordinated, efficient, and compliant administration across a portfolio of client transactions.
- Strengthen internal team capabilities by mentoring and sharing knowledge with team members.
- Contribute to bottom-line revenue by achieving recovery rates and targets.
- Liaise with advisors, banks, and professionals to ensure smooth administration.
- Maintain accurate client data in fiduciary systems.
- Manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and responding to queries promptly and professionally.
- Identify opportunities for new business and refer them to the New Business team.
- Provide technical support to Senior Managers.
- Assist with anti-money laundering (AML), best alternative management (BAM), customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD), and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA)/Common Reporting Standard (CRS) risk reviews.
- Draft minutes and file notes from telephone calls and meetings using company templates and standards.
- Control work, billing, and debtor management in line with company procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Attained or working towards a STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) or CGI (Chartered Governance Institute) qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Trust and Corporate Services Provider (TSCP) sector.
- Demonstrable technical experience in the administration of trusts and offshore fiduciary structures.
- Exceptional client relationship management skills, maintaining a professional, personable, and proactive approach.
- Practical, hands-on approach to work with a strong focus on efficiency and results.
- Outstanding organisational skills, with the ability to manage tasks effectively and maintain order.
- Strong confidence in using systems and applications to optimise workflows.
