You will need to be able to research relevant policy subject areas, identify best practice, ensure compliance with relevant legislation and prepare policy drafts and associated procedures. Attention to detail is key, along with a thorough approach and the ability to draft documents in a style and format is essential. This is a very rewarding area of HR to work within, the role will bring some autonomy, and will require the candidate to be able to use their initiative and hit the ground running.
Within this 12 month temporary role you will act as a technical expert and decision maker, focussing on a specific aspect of the department’s services, providing specialist advice to support team members in delivering services to customers.
