This is a new and exciting fixed term contract until December 2026, to carry out construction/installation/maintenance of underground duct and fibre cables in the Access Network of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, Jersey and IOM, to include the termination and installation of cables at distribution points, fibre nodes, CBT’s and optical mainframes. This role does involve working at heights and underground for installation and repairs and the main duties will include, but are not restricted to, interception and splicing of fibre optic cables, end to end testing, fault tracing and the interpretation of schematics. The Purpose of the role is to prepare financial statements for fund structures in an efficient and timely manner and in accordance with accepted accounting policies and auditing standards and internal policies including IFRS, FRS 102 and US GAAP and internal policies and procedures. The candidate will have a demonstrable sound knowledge of fund accounting, recording of financial transactions, preparation of financial statements and relevant regulatory requirements. Other necessary skills include a proven track record of meeting client deadlines and delivering excellent client service, great accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to lead by example and set best practice.

A well-established and privately owned company are seeking to recruit a trust or compliance professional with experience to join their small and busy Compliance & Risk team, on a temporary basis, until December 2022 with an immediate start. You will assist with the completion of compliance reviews and work on a project. The successful candidate will have an understanding and appreciation of accounting processes and systems, strong interpersonal skills, be highly numerate with the ability to analyse data, identify risks and opportunities and suggest/implement solutions.
